GRINNELL, Iowa – The Coe College women's swimming & diving team competed in a non-conference dual Friday evening at Grinnell, falling 205-60 to the host Pioneers. Coe still turned in numerous top performances in the dual with Valerie Gutierrez leading the effort with a first-place finish in the 200 Fly with a time of 2:24.92. Ashley Fernald, Hollye Gutierrez, Natalie Pirozek and Jordan Hughes followed with second-place efforts throughout the night while Jordan Hughes posted a pair of third-place performances. Coe had two third-place efforts in the 200 Medley and 200 Free Relay as Hollye Gutierrez, Devyn Nabarrete, Valerie Gutierrez, Natalie Pirozek and Natalie Pirozek, Ashley Fernald, Petra Veliz, Jordan Hughes hit the podium for the Kohawks.
