MONMOUTH, Ill. – The Coe College women's track & field was in action Saturday afternoon at Monmouth College's Roger Haynes Invitational, the team's final full-field event before the indoor A-R-C Championships later this month. Freshman
Emily Andrade made headlines for Coe, taking first place in the 400m with a time of 1:03.50.
Sangai Dukuly also picked up an individual victory for the women, claiming the title in the triple jump with a leap of 10.17m.
Lily Mayo was the final Kohawk to cross the line in first place, securing an individual title in the 3000m with a time that was just short of landing on Coe's top 10 lists. The Kohawks had seven other point-scoring finishes throughout the meet including a second-place effort in the 4x400 relay as Dukuly
, Taiy Pruett, Andrade and
Maggie Preuss finished in a time of 4:16.03.
