CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — The Coe College women's track & field team competed for the final time in the indoor regular season over the weekend, taking place in the Iowa Open Friday evening before a full-team competition at Wartburg's Liz Wuertz Invite.
Lily Mayo started the weekend with a PR mark in the 800m at Iowa, finishing in 2:28.12 to take 14th overall.
Brieannah James also competed, finishing 26th in the mile with a strong 6:03.68 effort. The Kohawks followed up with 14 personal or season bests in the final regular season competition at Wartburg with
Reonna Pendleton earning a team-best seventh place finish in the triple jump with a personal-best leap of 9.64m.
Magdalynne Preuss, Roz Hoefflin, Sofia Blake, Stephanie Keil, Alexandria Travis, Kweena Kerzuah, Alondra Mathena and
Denise Smith made up the remainder of the Kohawks to set season or personal bests to cap off a strong day for the team.
