WAVERLY, Iowa – The Coe College women's track & field team wrapped up its indoor competition season Saturday at the final day of the American Rivers Conference Championships. The Kohawks picked up a pair of point-scoring finishes on the second day of action, earning a seventh-place finish in the 4x400 relay and an eighth-place mark in the 4x800 relay.
Taiy Pruett, Sangai Dukuly, Maggie Preuss and
Emily Andrade were Coe's runners in the 4x400, finishing in a time of 4:16.46 that was well ahead of the trailing teams.
Lily Mayo, Brieannah James, Fiona Mahler and
Alexis Vaughn added the final team point of the championship for the Kohawks in the 4x800, placing eighth in a time of 11:17.33.
Lily Mayo was just shy of an individual point-scoring finish for the Kohawks in the 3000m, placing ninth with a time of 10:51.13, less than four seconds behind eighth.
Sangai Dukuly also competed in the triple jump Saturday, placing 11th with a leap of 10.14m.
