ROCK ISLAND, Ill. - The Coe College women's tennis team finished off its three-match road trip with a dominant 7-0 sweep at Augustana College on Sunday morning. The Kohawks, who won two of three matches during its final road trip of 2025, dominated from the start with 6-1, 6-3 and 6-3 wins in doubles. Addison Leasure / Alli Hagness, Sophia Fain / Alice Tysoe and Carlie Miller / Maria Bello Escobar were Coe's pairing in doubles, earning the sweep and team point. Five of six Kohawks stayed in the lineup for singles to help complete the sweep with Maddie Schultz stepping in for the first time in the match at number three for a 6-3, 6-2 victory. Fain, Leisure, Tysoe, Hagness and Bello Escobar all picked up their second wins of the matchup, sweeping the competition at 1, 2, 4, 5 and 6.
