Box Score CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – The Coe College women's tennis team ended its regular season Friday afternoon, defeating Cornell College 5-1 to claim the Bremner Cup point and a senior day victory. Coe's women opened with a slight edge in the doubles competition, picking up wins at number two and number three as pairings Sophia Fain / Alice Tysoe and Jaden Fuqua / Maddie Schultz helped claim the team point. Fain, Schultz and Tysoe proceeded to win their matches in singles for their second wins of the contest while Alli Hagness bounced back from a doubles defeat at number five. Fuqua was ahead 6-2 in her match at number six before the match was called, sitting in prime position to help Coe to five of six victories in the competition.
