INDIANOLA, Iowa – The Coe College women's tennis team picked up a pair of A-R-C sweeps on Friday and Saturday, defeating the Central College Dutch and Simpson College Storm 7-0. The Kohawks started on Friday with a strong effort in doubles, getting victories from
Addison Leasure / Aisha Gurung and
Sophia Fain / Lucille Rozeboom to go up 1-0. Singles proved to be more dominance for the Kohawks as Fain, Leisure, Gurung,
Alice Tysoe and
Alli Hagness picked up straight-set victories. Rozeboom was forced into a tiebreak at number six singles, but she came out on top, winning the tiebreak 10-8 to keep it 7-0. Saturday's match started in similar fashion, but this time, the Kohawks swept the doubles competition with Gurung / Leisure, Tysoe / Fain and
Carlie Miller / Hagness handling business for a 1-0 lead. Fain, Gurung, Hagness and Rozeboom returned to the lineup for singles and picked up straight-set wins with
Cosette Gaines, and Miller picked up singles wins for the first time in 2026.
