CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – The Coe College men's tennis team picked up a pair of dominant victories to close out the 2025 regular season, taking down Buena Vista and Nebraska Wesleyan 7-0 at Clark Racquet Center. The Kohawk men had no problems in their final matches of the year, sweeping both doubles competitions while winning all 12 singles matches in straight sets. Doubles pairs Graham Peterson / Joshua Tiemann, Alex Palomar / Luke Doig and Bode Carter / Harry Hawbaker claimed 6-2, 6-3 and 6-1 victories to start up 1-0. Peterson, Palomar, Hawbaker and Carter proceeded to win their second matches of the day in singles and were joined by Isaac Hinze and Kohen Juelfs who completed the sweep. Coe continued to ride the momentum in the second match, opening the contest with a trio of 6-1 victories in doubles as Jumpei Kasai / Bryton Short, Ivan Burt-Smith / Daniel Rohlman and Graham Peterson / Joshua Tiemann made it 1-0. Short, Tiemann and Kasai remained in the lineup for singles and teamed with Grant Idoux, Luke Doig and Reed Kruger to finish off the shutout.
