CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Coe College baseball team is ranked in both major DIII Baseball Polls that were released earlier this week, 22nd in both the ABCA DIII Coaches Poll and the D3baseball.com Poll. The Kohawks, who went 4-1 last week with, jumped in both sets of rankings. Coe moved from the receiving votes category to 22 in the D3baseball.com poll and vaulted eight spots from number 30 in the ABCA poll. The Kohawks began this week with a 5-0 victory over Simpson yesterday, recording their nation-leading seventh shutout of the season. Coe continues the season this weekend with the final three games of a lengthy home stand, hosting Nebraska Wesleyan on Friday, April 11 and 12 at Bill Quinby Field.
