CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa  – The Coe College women's tennis team played at home for the first time in 2025 on Saturday morning, defeating the Central College Dutch 6-1 in an American Rivers Conference matchup. The Kohawks got off to a solid start in doubles, claiming the team point after Addison Leasure / Aisha Gurung and Maria Bello Escobar / Alice Tysoe won their matches 6-0 at number one and number three. Coe went on to dominate in singles play, winning five of six matches with the lone defeat coming via retirement due to heat. All five victorious Kohawks won their matches in straight sets with Gurung putting together a dominant 6-0, 6-0 display at number three. Leasure and Tysoe joined Gurun with their second victories of the contest while Sophia Fain and Alli Hagness bounced back from a doubles defeat.
