BLOOMINGTON, Ill.  – Coe College volleyball players Maddy Maahs and Maggie Furlong were recognized following the team's most recent tournament at Illinois Wesleyan, being named all-tournament team members for the Illinois Wesleyan University Classic. Coe went 2-1 behind the duo's strong performances, with Maahs and Furlong bolstering the Kohawks on both sides of the net. Maahs totaled 129 assists during the weekend, averaging 9.92 assists per set while eclipsing the 4,000-assist mark for her career. She is just the third Kohawk to achieve the feat, joining Emily Ryan and Kristy Upah in the record books. Furlong had a strong weekend on offense and defense, totaling 34 kills with a .309 attack percentage while adding a team-high 12 blocks. The senior from Galena had 11 block assists and added a solo stop on the weekend en route to her second all-tournament team honor of the season.
