BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – The Coe College women's track & field team was in action at the Illinois Wesleyan Keck DIII Select Saturday. The Kohawk women were led by senior thrower
Piper Boggs who posted a personal-best toss of 12.98m to finish third in the weight throw. The toss was over .5m than her previous two attempts and was just shy of cracking Coe's top-10 list.
Lily Mayo delivered another strong performance on the track, breaking into Coe's top-10 with a fourth-place finish in the 5000m with a time of 19:09.16. Boggs posted another top-20 finish in the shot put, finishing 18th with a chuck of 9.36m.
Lizzy Sanchez and
Brieannah James recorded Coe's final top-30 efforts for the day, placing 21st and 26th in the 60m hurdles and 1 mile respectively.
