CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Coe College women's basketball players
Caydee Kirkham and
Audrie Helmrichs notched a program first Monday, marking the first time in Kohawk women's basketball history that two players were named all-region as the dynamic duo was recognized by
D3hoops.com. Kirkham is earning the second all-region selection of her career, adding another first-team selection to her awards haul. The senior cemented herself as one of the best players in Kohawk history, becoming the program's all-time leader in scoring and assists this season, averaging 18.9 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 5.4 assists per game. Helmrichs took a major leap in her sophomore season, providing an ultra-efficient second option on offense while dominating the glass on both ends of the floor. The Greeley native averaged 15.7 points and 7.9 rebounds per game while leading all of Division III in field goal percentage with a shooting percentage of 67.7.
