ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Coe College women's tennis team made it two straight victories to start its 2026 spring season Friday evening, defeating the University of St. Catherine 6-1 on the road. Coe's women started well in doubles, picking up the team point with victories at the number one and two positions. Aisha Gurung / Addison Leasure and Alice Tysoe / Sophia Fain were the victors for the Kohawks, earning 6-3 and 6-2 victories respectively. Coe proceeded to win five of six matches in singles, claiming four wins in straight sets from Sophia Fain, Leasure, Gurung and Maria Bello Escobar before Tysoe earned a tiebreaking 10-6 decision in the third for the 6-1 victory.
