CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – The Coe College women's tennis team secured a pair of non-conference sweeps on Saturday, defeating the University of Wisconsin Stout and University of Wisconsin River Falls 7-0 on the road. The Kohawks started the day with three wins in doubles as
Addison Leasure / Sophia Fain, Alice Tysoe / Alli Hagness and
Carlie Miller / Alexa Cohen swept the initial competition for the team point. Fain, Leasure,
Aisha Gurung, Tysoe, Hagness and Miller combined in singles to complete the shutout, winning all six matchups in straight sets. The Coe women stayed hot in the second match of the day, winning all three matches in doubles with Tysoe / Gurung, Miller / Leasure and Fain / Hagness picking up the team point. Singles proved to be more dominance from the Kohawks as Fain, Leasure, Gurung, Tysoe, Hagness and Miller finished off the perfect day.
