CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – The Coe College women's track and field team was in action over the weekend at a two-day event hosted by Mount Mercy University. The Kohawk women showed well across the two days, posting 13 personal and season-best performances as a team.
Lily Mayo led the individual efforts, placing second in the 3000m Steeplechase with a season-best time of 12:05.59.
Roz Hoefflin threw down a personal-best performance in the 1500m, placing fourth with a time of 5:39.94.
Lizzy Sanchez, Emily Andrade, Stephanie Keil, Piper Boggs, Alexandria Travis, Denise Smith, and
Chloe Flood joined in on the personal and season-best performances to polish off Coe's team performance for the weekend.
Magdalynne Preuss, Emily Andrade, Brieannah James, and Sanchez combined for Coe's top relay finish in the 4x400, placing sixth with a time of 4:50.10
