Sophia Fain and
Jack Walsh were recognized by the American Rivers Conference Monday afternoon, earning Women's Tennis and Baseball Pitcher of the Week honors. Fain led the Kohawk women's tennis squad to a pair of non-conference wins over UW-Stout and UW-River Falls, going 4-0 overall as Coe's top singles player and a top-two doubles player. The junior earned a 6-3 win with
Addison Leasure at number one doubles against Stout and followed with a 6-1, 6-0 decision at number one singles. Fain backed up the effort with a 6-0 win at number three doubles with
Alli Hagness and added another win at number one singles, defeating her opponent 6-2, 6-2. Walsh tossed a dominant three-hit shutout for the Kohawk baseball team in a 1-0 win at Buena Vista on Friday. The Dubuque native struck out 11 hitters and allowed just five base runners en route to his sixth win of the 2026 season.
