WHEATON, Ill. – The Coe College Women's Tennis team capped off its regular season Saturday afternoon with a non-conference victory on the road, defeating Wheaton College 5-2. The Kohawks started well with a 2-1 edge in doubles, claiming the team point with victories from
Aisha Gurung / Addison Leasure and
Maria Bello Escobar / Sophia Fain at numbers one and two. The Kohawks went on to pick up four wins in the singles competition as Fain, Leisure, Gurung, and
Alice Tysoe finished off the victory. Fain claimed a 0-6, 7-6, 12-10 victory at the top singles spot, while the remaining three winners claimed straight-set decisions.
