DECORAH, Iowa – The Coe College men's tennis team saw its 2026 season come to a close on Saturday afternoon, falling 4-2 to top-seeded Luther College in the American Rivers Conference Championship match. The Kohawks dropped the initial competition to the Norse, falling 2-0 in doubles at the hosts claimed 6-3 and 6-2 victories at numbers one and three. Luther extended the lead in singles with the first victory of the second session at number four but Coe did manage to put pressure on with victories from
Anthony Schulte and
Jumpei Kasai at numbers one and six. Luther finished off the victory with straight-set wins at numbers three and five, ending the match with the clinching win at number five.
