CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — Coe College pitcher Jack Walsh picked up another postseason honor Wednesday, being named to the American Baseball Coaches Association Division III Gold Glove Team. Walsh, the lone pitcher on the nine-man team, became the first player in program history to earn the Gold Glove honor after committing just one error on the mound. The Dubuque native posted a .967 fielding percentage with 30 chances and 20 assists as the junior displayed his athleticism on the defensive side of things. Walsh was named an All-American by D3baseball and ABCA earlier this season and also was the ABCA Region 9 Pitcher of the Year.
