CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — Coe College pitcher
Jack Walsh made more headlines Tuesday, becoming the first Coe College baseball player to earn College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America honors since 2018, as he was named to the third team. A junior Kinesiology major, Walsh boasts a 3.85 cumulative GPA in the classroom and paired that with a record-breaking season, striking out a school-best 102 batters while winning nine of his 12 starts. The Dubuque native's postseason awards haul is nothing short of impressive, including first-team all-conference, ABCA Region Pitcher of the Year, ABCA Gold Glove Winner and two All-America selections, rounding out an incredible season for Walsh.
