CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - For the first time since the 2013 season, the Coe College football team is ranked in a D3football.com preseason poll, coming in at number 22 in the rankings. The Kohawks, coming off a 9-3 season and their first NCAA Playoff win since 2016, return a strong core of players that help set numerous offensive records. Brady Kelly set single-game and single-season records for passing yards and passing touchdowns in his junior season and is set to lead the Kohawk offense as one of the nation's top returning Quarterbacks. Defensively, Coe returns four of its top five tacklers from 2025 in CJ Johnson, Henry Ryan, Leighton Charters and Jack Clarahan. The Kohawks open their 10-game, regular-season schedule on Saturday, September 5 at 1 PM at Clark Field in a Bremner Cup matchup with Cornell College. The rivalry game is the first of seven home contests for the Kohawks, who host defending national champion UW-River Falls on Saturday, September 12.
