CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Coe College Football team wrapped up its 2026 non-conference schedule on Saturday afternoon at Clark Field, falling 28-7 to the visiting University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Titans. The Kohawks scored their lone touchdown on the opening drive of the game, marching 75 yards across 13 plays before a six-yard touchdown pass from
Brady Kelly to
Cole Barnes. Oshkosh answered with its own score later in the quarter, getting back into the game on a 43-yard run with 2:40 left in the first. Coe and Oshkosh traded scoreless possessions for the rest of the first half and much of the second, but the visiting Titans scored 22 points in the fourth quarter to complete the comeback victory. In total, UWO finished with 500 yards of offense and 21 first downs while the Kohawks posted just 203 yards of total offense.
Henry Ryan made a team-high 12 stops on the defensive side while
Bryson Tidwell wreaked havoc in the Titan backfield with 3.0 tackles for loss and one sack.

- Coe's first drive was impressive, taking the ball 75 yards across 13 plays before Kelly hit Barnes for the score. Kelly completed five passes to get the Kohawks into scoring range and did well to keep the play alive on third and six before finding a wide-open Barnes in the left half of the endzone. Oshkosh quickly answered after stalling on its first drive, taking over at its own 36 with 4:30 left in the quarter. The Titans ran the ball on four straight plays and hit the big one on 1st and 10 from Coe's 43 as an outside run beat the Kohawk defense. The remainder of the first half featured long scoreless drives for both teams, each limiting their chances with penalties and a missed kick for the Titans. Coe's defense came up huge to start the third quarter, making a big stop on fourth and one at its own five-yard line to pick up the momentum. Coe's offense could not get anything going in the third, with each of its 10 plays being run inside its own half of the field. Oshkosh took the lead on its first drive of the fourth and never looked back, marching 55 yards before a two-yard scramble from the Oshkosh QB made it 12-7. A successful two-point conversion made it a seven-point game before another three-and-out from Coe. Oshkosh put the game away with another quick-striking drive moments later, hitting a 58-yard touchdown pass that made it 21-7. The Titans put one final score on the board with less than two minutes to play, taking advantage of excellent field position after Coe was forced to go for a fourth-down inside its own 20.
