Elven Walker joined the Coe football coaching staff in 2019 and helped coordinate the top punt return unit in the nation in punt blocks. In his first season, he helped coached all-American linebacker, Logan Rickard. Prior to joining Coe, Elven served as an assistant coach at Carroll University, where his punt return unit was top in the conference.
Walker also spent a season at Lincoln-Way Central High School as an assistant coach and a year at Eastern Illinois as an intern. Elven, who graduated from Eastern Illinois, was a two-sport athlete for the Huskies, playing football and running track. During his time at EIU, Elven made appearances in numerous conference championships in football and track and field.
