Joe Peters

Joe Peters rejoined the Coe Football coaching staff in 2014 as an assistant coach after previously serving in the same role from 1984-87. After his stint at Coe, Peters spent his years as a teacher at numerous high schools before beginning his career as the P.E./Health teacher at Mount Vernon High School in 2001 before recently retiring. Joe served as an assistant track and field coach from 2002-2020 and also served as an assistant football coach from 2001-2014.

Joe, a 1983 and 1986 graduate of Coe, and his wife Beth have five children and two grandchildren. The couple has been married since 1986 and resides in Cedar Rapids.
