Nick Long took the Director of Coe Athletic Training Services role in the summer of 2021 after serving as the Head Athletic Trainer at Buena Vista University for five-plus years. His primary sport responsibilities are Football, Swimming, Softball, Bowling and Golf.

Long, who received his bachelor's degree from the University of Northern Iowa, went on to earn a master's in education from Valdosta State University where he served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer.
