Mickey Hansche joined the Coe women’s basketball coaching staff as an assistant coach after a standout career as a Kohawk. The Iowa City native holds the record for most careers starts, most 3s made in a career, career 3-point percentage, career FT percentage, 3s made in a single-season, 3s made in a single game while ranking second in career minutes and fourth in scoring.
Prior to her excellent collegiate career, Hansche was a five-sport athlete at Iowa City High where she earned the Outstanding Athlete Award and Outstanding Female All-Around Athlete award.
Mickey, who is a sixth-grade teacher at Borlaug Elementary, lives in Fairfax.
