Ilah Perez-Johnson

Ilah Perez-Johnson was promoted to top assistant volleyball coach in March 2026 after one year on staff as a part-time coach. The former standout collegiate player helped Coe reach the NCAA Tournament in 2025 with a victory in the A-R-C Tournament.

Perez-Johnson joined the program in 2025 after serving as a graduate assistant coach at NCAA Division II Northern State University. She also spent six years coaching club volleyball.

A standout student-athlete at Cornell College, Perez-Johnson finished her career as the program's all-time leader in service aces while surpassing 1,500 career kills and 1,400 career digs.

Perez-Johnson earned AVCA Second Team All-America honors in 2024 after receiving AVCA Honorable Mention All-America recognition in 2022 and 2023. She was a three-time AVCA All-Region selection, a three-time First Team All-Midwest Conference honoree, and the 2023 Midwest Conference Player of the Year.

She helped lead Cornell College to four consecutive Midwest Conference Regular Season and Tournament Championships, advancing to the NCAA Division III Tournament each season.
