Naperville, Ill. – Coe opened their three game road trip to North Central College with a win. The Kohawks defeated the host Cardinals 3-1.
The Kohawks started their weekend trip with a four set win over North Central. Coe came out fast with a 25-14 win in the first set. After falling behind 18-10 in set two the Kohawks rallied to win 27-25. Coe dropped set three 25-17 before dominating the fourth set 25-11.
A pair of freshmen lead the way for the Kohawks.
Kate Tidman lead the offense with a career high 20 kills while
Madi Parson lead the defense with a career high 22 digs. Parson added 12 kills for her 4th double-double of the season. Sophomore
Elli Teeple set the Kohawk hitters up all night with a season high 44 assists.
Coe will conclude the North Central Invitational tomorrow, September 7
th, with two more games starting at 12 p.m.
