KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Coe College men's tennis team lost a dual match to Kalamazoo College on Saturday morning. The Kohawks trailed 2-1 after doubles play but the Hornets won all six singles matches to pick up the victory. The loss drops Coe to 7-2 overall while Kalamazoo improves to 3-2 on the year.

Coe battled in doubles play to open the match, picking up an 8-6 victory at #2 from Nate Greiner/Tyler Nelson but a narrow 8-6 victory at #1 gave Kalamazoo the slight advantage heading into singles play. The Hornets showed well in singles play, winning all six matches but the Kohawks made it tough, sending two of the matches into a third set. Greiner was narrowly defeated at #2, falling 7-5, 6-7, 6-10 to his opponent while Rami Hemaidan fell just short, 6-2, 1-6, 6-0.
