INDIANOLA, Iowa -- The Coe College Clay Target team opened its season at the Simpson College Invite on Saturday morning, competing against Simpson, Wartburg, Grand View and DMACC. Two Kohawks finished inside the overall top-20 while three others registered top-five finishes in a single discipline.
Ryley McMahen and
Ethan Frana finished inside the top-20 overall with a total of 111 while
Rachel Rickert and
Ryley McMahen both recorded fifth-place finishes in the sporting category, each scoring 36.
Allison Darling joined the top-five finishes, recording a third-place finish for the Kohawks in the trap discipline with a total of 48.
