CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Coe College men's tennis team earned a 7-2 win on Saturday morning at Clark Racquet Center, remaining undefeated on the season. The Kohawks got off to a great start, sweeping the doubles competition before going on to win four-of-six singles matches to secure the victory. The result moves the Kohawks to 7-0 overall as Grandview drops to 2-5 on the season.
Rami Hemaidan and
Bo Wilson had excellent days for Coe, opening the contest with an impressive 8-4 victory at #1 doubles. Hemaidan and Wilson then went on to dominate their singles matches with Hemaidan picking up a 6-1, 6-2 victory at #1 while Wilson won 6-2, 6-1 at #4 singles.
Nathan Meskell and
Jack Cook also picked up a pair of victories on the day, winning their singles matches 6-3, 6-3 and 3-6, 6-0, 10-5 respectively.
