Box Score INDIANOLA, Iowa - The Coe College women's soccer team fell 3-0 to Simpson College on Tuesday evening at Bill Buxton Stadium. The Kohawks recorded two of the first four shots of the game but goals in the 37th and 38th minute gave the Storm the momentum heading into the half. The Storm scored one more goal in the second half in the 86th minute to end the Kohawk comeback chances. Overall, Coe had four shots, nine saves and one corner kick. The loss drops Coe to 0-5 overall and in the A-R-C while Simpson improves to 3-1-1 on the year.

Jordan Rosas recorded the first shot of the game in the third minute, forcing a save from the Simpson keeper but the Storm would tally the next two shots during a strong spell. Simpson continued to play on the front foot for the next few minutes, earning four corner kicks while racking up seven shot attempts during the span.
Ella Weber recorded the Kohawks' final shot of the half in the 25th minute but her attempt sailed high of the goal. Simpson broke through in the 37th minute from a corner kick. Madi Strecker delivered the set piece into the box as Mason Cambri opened the scoring. The same duo struck again from another corner kick just over a minute later as the Storm made it 2-0 in the 38th.
Neither team had many chances early in the second half, combining for just four shots in the opening thirty minutes of the frame. Simpson scored the final goal of the game in the 86th minute as Baileigh Nagy scored off an assist from Cassie Nash.
Up next: Coe will return to Cedar Rapids on Friday for an American Rivers Conference clash with Loras College at 5:00 p.m.
