CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Coe College women's soccer team fell 6-0 to Loras College on Friday evening at Clark Field. Loras opened the scoring in the 14th minute and added four more before the end of the half to take control of the contest. In the game, Coe recorded four total shots and one on target while the Kohawk keepers made nine saves in the game. The loss drops Coe to 0-6 on the season while Loras improves to 6-1 overall and in the A-R-C.

Alex Montalbano made six saves while
Kacey Baker made three after replacing Montalbano late in the game due to injury. Loras opened the scoring in the 14th minute as Ryleigh O'Brien struck on an assist from Abby Eriksen. Loras got another in the 20th minute as Abby Eriksen scored for the Duhawks from a Josie McDermott assist. The Kohawks tallied their first shot of the game in the 24th minute as
Lauren Defoe had an attempt sail wide left. Loras added three more to its total before the halftime whistle blew, scoring in the 29th, 37th and 45th minute to lock up the victory.
Up next: Coe will return to Clark Field on Wednesday evening for another A-R-C matchup with UD at 5 p.m.
