CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The fifth-ranked Coe College wrestling team split a pair of American Rivers Conference duals on Saturday at Kohawk Arena, defeating Luther 36-6 in the opening match before dropping a narrow contest to Loras, 19-18. Will Esmoil picked up a fall at 165 for Coe. The second match proved to be full of drama, coming down to the final two bouts between the Kohawks and Duhawks.
Mathieu Arsenault and
Kaleb Reeves picked up clutch victories for the Kohawks at 197 and 285 but the Duhawks lead was just enough as Coe fell 19-18. The results move Coe's dual record to 7-4 overall and 3-1 in the A-R-C.
