LINCOLN, Neb. - The Coe College men's soccer team suffered a 4-0 defeat to Nebraska Wesleyan on Saturday evening at Abel Stadium. The Kohawks posted 14 shots in the match, just three shy of their season-best but the Prairie Wolves took advantage of 11 shots on goal for the victory. The first goal came just 13 minutes in as the hosts took an early lead in the opening half. NWU would add three more goals en route to the win, scoring in the 22nd, 59th and the 70th minute. The loss drops Coe to 1-9-1 overall and 0-2 in the A-R-C while Nebraska Wesleyan improves to 3-6-1 and 1-1 in the league.

- Coe and NWU traded early chances in the match with Carter Collis firing a shot on target for the visitors, but his attempt was saved by the keeper as the game remained scoreless. The hosts put together a strong spell of attack, registering three shots in a five-minute period before scoring the opener. The Paririe Wolves capitalized on the attacking chances, scoring their first of the game 20 seconds after a save from Max Twight. NWU added a second goal before the end of the half, cashing in after another run of offensive pressure. Coe battled for the remainder of the period, getting a trio of shots before the halftime whistle but the lone shot on target was saved as the Kohawks trailed 2-0 after 45 minutes.
- The visitors came out strong in the second half, putting pressure on NWU with three shots and a corner kick in the opening ten minutes. The back-breaking goal came just a few minutes later with the hosts making it 3-0, tallying in the 59th minute. The victory was secured by the Prairie Wolves just over 10 minutes after the third goal, adding a fourth to their tally in the 70th minute.
