CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Coe College dance team was in action over the last two weekends, competing at a pair of Dance Challenge sponsored competitions at Xavier High School and Buena Vista University. The Kohawks turned in solid performances at both events, receiving numerous awards and trophies across the jazz, pom and hip hop disciplines. The team earned first place in all three categories at both competitions, earning the highest overall score in the jazz at Xavier and the hip hop at Buena Vista.

Up next: The Kohawk Dance Team will be in action on Wednesday, November 30 at the Iowa State Dance Championships in Des Moines at Grand View University. Coe will compete against Upper Iowa, Luther, Simpson, Central, Wartburg and Buena Vista at the championships.
