DUBUQUE, Iowa - The Coe College wrestling team had six athletes punch their tickets to the NCAA Division III Wrestling Championships on Saturday at the Lower Midwest Regional. To cap off the excellent start to the postseason, heavyweight Kaleb Reeves claimed the individual title at 285 to secure the Kohawks only individual title. Bryce Parke (133), Brock Henderson (141), Will Esmoil (165), Tristin Westphal (174) and Ryan Schott (184) all secured bids to next month's championships in Cedar Rapids, each winning the third-place match in their respective classes. As a team, Coe finished in third place with 148.5 team points, just one point behind second-place Loras and 10 points behind first-place Wartburg.

Reeves, who recorded the most falls of any wrestler during the regional, pinned all four of his opponents over the competition with an average match time of just over one minute. The Sigourney native pinned Colton Kinnison of Simpson, Ka'Ron Lewis of University of the Ozarks, Sam Zook of Cornell and Robby Bates of North Central to secure the title. Parke, one of just two freshmen to qualify for Nationals, battled back after a semifinal loss to Joey Pins of Wartburg. Bryce won a tough consolation match before facing Trevor Boryla from Augustana in the third-place match which Parke won 14-12.

Henderson also came back from a semifinal loss to North Central's Javen Estrada, winning two-straight consolation matches to claim third place. Brock picked up his second NCAA Qualification with a 5-1 victory over Jalen Schropp of Loras College. Esmoil, who was defeated in the semifinals by the Regional's outstanding wrestler, Bradan Birt, also battled back through the consolation bracket to reach the third-place match. The sophomore made it count with a pin just 33 seconds into his match against Cornell's Casey Allen as Esmoil was Coe's fourth wrestler to secure a bid to Nationals.

Westphal had a similar run to the third-place match, falling in the semifinals before picking up consolation-bracket victories over opponents from the University of the Ozarks and North Central College. Tristin earned a tough 6-2 decision over Joey Jens from North Central in the third-place bout to secure a spot at NCAA's. Schott, who rounded out the qualifiers for Coe, fell in the championship semis before battling back in the wrestle backs. Schott took on Peyton Hammerich from Central College in the final match, picking up an 11-8 decision to punch his ticket.
