ORLANDO, FL. - The Coe College men's tennis team fell 8-1 to nationally-ranked Kenyon College on Tuesday morning, suffering an 8-1 defeat to the 21st-ranked Lords. The Kohawks had a good start in the match, picking up a big doubles victory at number one as
Rami Hemaidan and
Bo Wilson secured an 8-4 victory.
Jon Lansing and
Graham Peterson came up just short in the number two doubles match despite a valiant effort, falling 8-6. The Lords went on to win the final doubles match and all six of the singles matches, securing the victory over the Kohawks. The loss moves Coe to 8-4 on the season while Kenyon improves to 5-4 overall.
