Men’s Tennis Drops Two Matches to Regionally-Ranked UW-Eau Claire & UW-Whitewater

Madison/Whitewater, WIS. - The Coe College men's tennis team suffered a pair of non-conference defeats to regionally-ranked UW-Eau Claire and UW-Whitewater on Saturday and Sunday. The Kohawks battled in their opening match of the weekend, falling in a back-and-forth tie with the Blugolds. Whitewater, which entered the match with a 14-1 record and ranked 34th in the nation, picked up victories in all but one match on Sunday as Jon Lansing and Graham Peterson earned a doubles win at the number two position. The losses drop Coe to 10-7 on the season while UW-Eau Claire and UW-Whitewater improve to 10-3 and 15-1 respectively.
