Men's Tennis Blanks Central and Buena Vista on Saturday

PELLA, Iowa - The Coe College men's tennis team picked up a pair of American Rivers Conference victories on Saturday, defeating Central and Buena Vista 9-0. The Kohawks dominated all day, winning all but one singles match in straight sets while going 6-0 in doubles competition. The Kohawks were led by Rami Hemaidan and Jon Lansing in singles against Central, earning a 6-0, 6-0 and a 6-1, 6-0 victory to set the tone. Coe dominated doubles in the second match of the day, winning 8-1, 8-2 and 8-0 in the three matches before cruising to six singles victories.  Coe improves to 12-7 overall and 5-0 in the A-R-C while Central and Buena Vista move to 7-7 and 6-8 overall.
