WINONA, Minn. - The Coe College women's tennis team advanced into this afternoon's American Rivers Conference Championship match with a 5-1 victory over Central College on Friday evening. The Kohawk women, who dropped the regular-season meeting with Central, earned the victory after dominating doubles play. All three of Coe's doubles teams claimed victories in the match with top pair
Isabella Hoppenjans/Emma Lassen pulling out a narrow 8-6 victory. The third-seeded Kohawks clinched the match with a pair of singles victories as
Madison Schultz and
Isabella Hoppenjans earned a 7-5, 6-2 and 6-3, 6-0 victory respectively. The win moves Coe into Saturday's Championship match where it will take on top-seeded Luther College at 1 PM.
