ORLANDO, Fl. - Coe College men's tennis player
Rami Hemaidan represented the Kohawk men's tennis team over the weekend at the NCAA Division III Individual National Championships. The tournament, which was hosted at the USTA National Campus, featured a 32-player bracket with eight seeded individuals. Hemaidan a suffered a 1-6, 5-7 defeat to eventual semifinalist Mason Tran from Pacific University in the opening round of the tournament. Rami, who made his inaugural appearance at the tournament, was the first Kohawk to earn a bid to the NCAA Individual Championships since Brady Anderson in 2018. Hemaidan ends the season with a 14-5 mark in singles and a 16-6 record in doubles. Second-seeded Stan Morris of Middlebury College earned the Individual National title, defeating Vishnu Joshi from Johns Hopkins 5-7, 7-6, 6-2.
