CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Coe College women's tennis team gave Coe a 3-2 lead in the 2022-23 Bremner Cup battle on Tuesday, claiming a 9-0 victory over local rivals Cornell. The Kohawks dominated the match from the start, claiming all three doubles contests while dropping just six total sets. Coe went on to cruise to the 9-0 victory in singles getting wins from
Madison Schultz, Jania Carter-Johnson, Claudia Bilkey, Courtney Carstensen, Maria Bello Escobar and
Jaden Fuqua to complete the sweep. The victory is Coe's eighth-straight to start the 2022-23 season as it improves to 8-0 while Cornell drops to 5-4 on the season.
