DECORAH, Iowa - The Coe College swimming and diving teams opened the 2023 portion of their schedules on Saturday, taking part in the Luther College Sprint Invite. The Kohawks were led by Zach Kolker and Megan Norris who each earned a pair of podium finishes at the event. Norris took home the individual title in both the 1M and 3M diving competitions, posting total scores of 371.90 and 394.30 to secure the top spots. Kolker continued his excellent senior season, earning first place in the 100 Fly and third in the 100 Back to pace the men's squad. Kolker turned in a time of 52.75 in the fly, finishing just .08 seconds ahead of second place to earn his 10th individual title of the season. Lauren Pio and Margaret Rhodes also picked up a pair of podium finishes for the Kohawks, helping the women's team finish fourth overall in the team standings. Pio took home second in the 200 Free and then posted a new personal best in the 100 IM en route to a third-place finish. Rhodes kept up her strong freshman season, taking third in the 100 Free and 50 Fly. Her time of 27.33 in the 50 Fly was a new personal best while her time in the 100 Free was less than one second behind her personal best time set earlier this season.
