CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Coe College women's soccer team suffered a defeat in its season finale on Tuesday evening, falling 6-0 to Simpson College at Clark Field. Simpson, which earned the second seed in the A-R-C tournament, was on fire from the opening minute, scoring its first less than two minutes in. The Storm would go on to add two more goals in the remainder of the half, taking a 3-0 lead into the break. The visitors pressed for more in the second half and put the game to rest with two goals in the first 10 minutes.

- Simpson was on the attack early in the match, recording the opener with their first shot on target. The Storm added to their lead 10 minutes later after a strong defensive spell from Coe, making it 2-0 with a solo effort from Cassie Nash. Simpson got its final goal of the period from the penalty spot converting for a 3-0 lead in the 22nd minute. The Storm added three more goals in the second half, doubling their lead with tallies in the 50th, 54th and 75th minute to cruise to the victory.
