CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Coe College women's tennis team extended its winning streak to three matches on Wednesday afternoon, defeating Loras College 5-4 at the Clark Racquet Center. Coe fell behind in the bout with the Duhawks, dropping the doubles competition 2-1. The visitors earned wins at number one and number three doubles but Courtney Carstensen and Chloe Palmer pulled out a crucial 8-4 win at number three. The Kohawks went on to dominate singles play, securing wins at number 1, 2, 3 and 6. Alliandra Hagness picked up a win in impressive fashion at number 3, securing a 6-0, 6-0 victory to claim an important team point. Chloe Palmer, Sophia Fain and Maddie Schultz finished the job for the Koahws in singles, winning their individual matches at number 6, 2 and 1. 
 
Up next: Coe hosts two more A-R-C matches this weekend, welcoming Simpson on Friday, October 6 and Central on Saturday, October 7.
