CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Coe College football team closed out its regular season with an impressive victory on Senior Day, defeating Loras College 54-14 at Clark Field. The Kohawks dominated both sides of the ball in the victory, racking up nearly 600 yards of offense while holding the Duhawks to just 122 total yards.
Carter Maske totaled over 400 yards of offense by himself, throwing for 358 yards while racking up 73 on the ground. The senior signal-caller eclipsed the 2,000-yard mark for the season and threw for three touchdown passes, bringing his season total to 24.
Dominic Shepardson had a career day on the outside, catching 13 balls for 223 yards, both of which were single-game career highs. Coe's defense had 12 tackles for loss, led by
Alex Aitchison who had 4.5 stops for loss with 2.5 sacks and a fumble recovery.

GAME FACTS
- Maske was ultra-efficient all afternoon, completing 23 of his 34 passes for 358 yards, the second-most passing yards in a single game in his career. Maske connected with six different receivers and had touchdown passes of six, 21 and 47 yards. The senior also got the job done on the ground, rushing for 73 yards and one score on 12 attempts.
- Shepardson started his incredible day from the opening whistle, beating the Duhawk secondary play after play. The fifth-year senior fell just shy of the career receiving record in the game, hitting the 2,700-yard mark for his career. Zamari Bruce fell just short of his fifth 100-yard game of the season, catching four passes for 85 yards and one touchdown. The sophomore finished the regular season with 843 yards and nine scores.
- Coe's defense was dominant yet again, holding Loras to 104 passing yards and just 18 rushing yards. The Kohawks were led by Ben Adelsberger and Ben Ridenour, who finished with eight tackles each. Adelsberger chipped in with 2.5 tackles for loss including one sack while Ridenour got in on the TFL party. Aitchison, Brady Lyons and Barron Lenz were second on the team with seven tackles each with Aitchison posting 4.5 tackles for loss to lead the team. Jack Shaw came up with the defense's other takeaway, picking off a pass inside his own territory for his fifth pick of the season.
