MOUNT VERNON, Iowa - The Coe College men's track & field team competed at the Cornell College Invitational on Friday afternoon. Chris Baker earned a trio of point-scoring finishes to lead the team to fourth place, claiming top-six finishes in the hammer, discus and shot put. Baker posted a new top 10 mark for the Kohawks, registering a toss of 47.72m in the hammer which earned him third on the day and is good for eighth all-time at Coe. Keyondrae Wilkerson picked up the team's lone individual win of the event, taking the top spot in the triple jump with a season-best leap of 12.24m. Paul Cory and Kade Kreinbring picked up medal-scoring finishes in the long jump while Gad Kanago and Cole Kirkham secured medals in the 400 hurdles. Ace Perrien was runner-up in the 400 hurdles, falling just .05 seconds behind first place. Coe's 4x100 relay team of Cory, Joseph Dufoe, Kirkham and Wilkerson picked up the team's final medal for the day, earning third with a mark of 3:32.03.
