CANTON, Mo. – The Coe College men's track and field team competed Saturday at Culver Stockton College, taking part in the Wildcat Invitational.
Trent Allen, Talon Sargent, and
Jaden Royal led the efforts for the Kohawks, claiming a trio of top-four finishes in the 10,000, 400, and triple jump. Allen had the team's best finish on the day, placing second in the 10,000m with a time of 34:38.32, which is a new college best mark. Sargent was just behind with a third-place effort in the 400, finishing in 49.75, another college-best mark. Royal nearly joined the previous pair with a college-best performance in the triple jump, leaping 13.79m to place fourth.
Arthur Seufferlein joined Allen in the top four of the 10,000, placing fourth with a collegiate-best mark of 40:24.23. Coe's 4x100 relay squad threw down a fifth-place performance as
Terrence Morris, Isaiah Morgan, Eli DouPonce, and
Talon Sargent posted a mark of 42.93.
